Sam’s hair journey started in 2012 after graduating from VCC’s hair design program. Her passion for barbering started a couple years later as she noticed prohibition-era styles and tight fades were more commonly requested. With a thirst to dive deeper, she got a job at a barbershop and fell in love with the craft. Now she specializes in short hair at a salon, where she can offer gender neutral services while incorporating salon amenities.

Inspired by post lock-down life, she’s been excited to play with longer, more natural textures for effortless, lived in styles – echoing the true nature of BC’s lifestyle. 

When Sam is out of the shop, she is exploring parks/beaches with her rescue dog Bandit, getting brunch/dim sum with her husband, or hitting up a dance floor to support live music.
